Maylet Lima is a woman with a passion for the world of fashion and modeling. Born in Havana, Cuba on November 20th, 1980, Maylet discovered her love for the arts at a young age. At just six years old, she began her journey in dance, modeling, and acting, and found that these were the activities that truly captured her attention.
As a child, Maylet modeled for well-known photographers like Raul Castillo, and fondly remembers her early experiences in acting. However, it was dance that always held a special place in her heart. For over 15 years, she danced with the renowned Lizt Alfonso Dance Company in Havana. Maylet describes her time with the company as one of the most fulfilling experiences of her life, as it not only allowed her to excel as a professional dancer, but also helped her discover other passions, such as teaching.
In her teens, Maylet decided to leave Cuba and travel to Mexico, where she worked as a model and dancer in Queretaro. In 2012, she moved to Miami, where she studied during the day and worked as a flamenco dancer at various hotels in Miami Beach at night. This job allowed her to financially support herself.
Today, Maylet is the CEO of Lotus Fashion Boutique, a company she created with the goal of empowering women through fashion and style. Fashion has always been a major passion of hers, and starting this business was a way for her to work in the industry. She strongly believes that having a healthy self-esteem and confidence is essential, and this is what she aims to instill in her clients at her boutique. Maylet describes herself as a determined and unstoppable woman, and this is reflected in her long-term vision for her business.
Her ultimate goal is to create her own personal brand, one that embodies her essence and can be applied to any business venture, such as her boutique.
