From Graphic Design to Tattooing: Lilian Raya’s Journey to the Top

Lilian Raya is a Mexican tattoo artist who was born in Mexico City, where she spent much of her childhood. After studying graphic design, she developed her skills as an illustrator, working primarily in children’s illustration and magazines, and her work was featured in various Mexican media outlets. In 2016, she decided to pursue a career as a professional tattoo artist, teaching herself the craft. Despite the initial challenges, she was able to land a job at a reputable tattoo studio in Mexico City within six months.

Since then,              has had the opportunity to tattoo in several countries such as Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Chile. She has also been a judge at international conventions such as Cómic Ink in Chile, and has been featured in international tattoo magazines such as Tattoo Life in the UK and on international websites such as Insider. She has won awards for her work at both national and international conventions and recently gave a tattoo seminar in Bogotá, Colombia alongside internationally recognized tattoo artists from around the world.

Currently, Lilian has her own studio in Mexico City called Lovetta Studio, which employs some of the best tattoo artists in Mexico. Although she continues to travel to tattoo in other countries, she currently resides in Mexico City. Through her hard work and dedication, she has been able to develop her technique and talent as a tattoo artist, which is widely recognized by her clients.

Lilian has achieved many important accomplishments in her career, such as awards at national and international conventions, international sponsorships, and articles in international tattoo magazines. She also has a website, www.lilianraya.com, where her work can be viewed. With her continued success and growth in the tattoo industry, Lilian aims to establish her name as one of the top tattoo artists in the world.
